Graham Lewis (Floyd Graham Lewis) was born in Brookhaven, MS on June 24, 1945, and died suddenly on December 8, 2021, in Ashland, OR. Graham is survived by his wife of forty years, Bunny Coble Lewis; his daughters Erin Lewis- Morris (Danny) and Shannon Rae Ashby (Justin) and his four grandchildren Riley Lewis-Morris, Dylan Lewis-Morris, Hattie Rae Ashby, and Elsie Adelaide Ashby. He is preceded in death by his parents Rev. Floyd Lewis and Erin Matheny. Graham was the son, grandson, great-grandson, nephew, and cousin to Methodist Ministers and attended Millsaps College in Jackson, MS. Graham also attended Clairmont School of Theology, but opted to become a licensed counselor and graduated with a masters from USC. Graham served as an officer in the Air Force from 1969-1972. The Air Force stationed him in El Segundo California during Vietnam. He settled in Manhattan Beach, CA. In 1991 the family moved to Ashland. From his first days here, he became an integral part of the community. Having arrived on July 1, he photographed the fireworks on July 4th and entered the photo into a contest and won!! From that day on he was “keeping Ashland in Focus.” He was a member of The Ashland Chamber of Commerce, The Lithia Springs Rotary, First United Methodist Church of Ashland, The Amigo Club, and the infamous “Male Bonders.” He worked the last few years at the Ashland Chamber of Commerce and was currently working part-time for Southern Oregon Travel at the new Welcome Center. Graham loved shooting pool with the Bonders every Thursday night, camping and cooking.
