She worked at the Ashland Les Schwab Tire Center for 17 years and considered the Les Schwab associates part of her extended family. Lindsay met her future husband Trever in November 2005 after he gathered his nerve to ask the “most beautiful girl I’d ever seen” to dance. The chemistry was undeniable and they married on July 3, 2008. Trever introduced Lindsay to hunting and fishing and together they enjoyed numerous adventures together, often with their dogs and pack mules. Lindsay also participated in local, regional, and national Train to Hunt events, a fitness and performance challenge within the archery community. With her husband as her trainer and most ardent supporter, Lindsay excelled at the sport taking home multiple medals over the years. Lindsay penned an article for Eastman’s Bow Hunting magazine about shooting her first elk bow hunting and also contributed a story to Western Hunter magazine about approaching her battle with cancer to training for the Train to Hunt competitions. Ultimately, Lindsay’s courageous fight was no match for the cancer that took her too soon. Lindsay is survived by her husband, Trever; her parents, Jim Troutman and Janet Morgan; her stepfather, Wayne Morgan; her brother Chris (Chelsea) Troutman; her grandparents Helen Troutman, and Harriet Zollman; and a multitude of aunts and uncles, cousins, in-laws, and close friends. Her vibrant spirit and irreplaceable tenacity will forever inspire all who shared her passions as they carry on her life’s pursuit of endless adventure. Her shining personality will continue to influence her friends and family, and her unparalleled ability to motivate and share her excitement in times of triumph will be felt throughout the outdoor community for years to come.
