Lowell Joseph Kyle passed away on May 24, 2021, in Ashland, Oregon after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. Lowell was born to Delbert and Laura Kyle on February 14, 1937, in Bottineau, North Dakota and was one of twelve children. Lowell was a Veteran and served in the United States Navy. After the Navy, Lowell held various jobs including logger, mechanic and salesman. He had a passion for gold mining, hunting, and just driving around in the hills in his younger days. Later in life, Lowell spent many summers at Howards Prairie, Oregon, and winters in Laughlin, Nevada. He loved fishing and traveling in his motor home, visiting with friends along the way, old as well as new. He enjoyed spending time at the casinos, gambling, going to shows and eating at the buffets. You could always find him listening to Rush Limbaugh on the radio and he was never late to watch the evening news. Lowell is survived by his children, Sandy (Jim) Sweet of Montague, Patty (Rick) Hood of Mt.Shasta, Kenny Kyle of Yreka and Donna (Ed) Cruz of Yreka, Granddaughter Alyssa (Samm) Kitto Astoria, OR and Sister Marion Kyle of Oceanside. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, being especially close to his niece Laura (Tim) Bynum of Yreka, CA. No service is planned at this time.
