Mary Margaret (Ragley) Elliott, age 94, died on Wednesday, June 15,2022 surrounded by her family in Medford, Oregon. Born January 8, 1928 in Nanty-glo Pennsylvania, she was preceded in death by her parents; Martin G. Ragley and Mary Grace (Smith) Ragley and 8 brothers; Walter, Clarence, Edward, William, Mearl, Paul, Donald and John, 4 of whom died under the age of 3 months. She is survived by 3 sons; Gerald, Lawrence and Ronald, who currently reside in Oregon. From age 6, Mary Margaret showed great talent both as a singer and pianist. She received many accolades for her accomplishments and performances, raised a loving family and taught music and piano in her studio for more than 60 years in Pennsylvania, Ashland and Medford, Oregon. She touched many people’s lives through her passion for music, was a respected member of the Music Teachers National Association and will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Mary Margaret’s burial service was oﬃciated by the kind Father Deacon Ricardo of Our Lady of the Mountain Church in Ashland and was buried on June 21,2022 at Mountain View Cemetery.
